In January 2014 twelve of our team took part in a non licensed Asbestos handling training course
All our team of Roofers have Asbestos awareness certificates but we decided to offer this course as a further addition as we can come across Asbestos quite often during roof refurbishment
The course lasted around 5 hours and involved both Class work and practical assessments including how to get out of your Overalls safely when they are contaminated with Asbestos fibres!
We had 12 volunteers and each one got fully involved and passed their test with flying colours!
This qualification will need a refresher every twelve months to ensure we remain fully compliant
We can now say we are fully qualified to remove non licensed Asbestos products
